This blog was created to bring information about language development to the people who really matter, PARENTS!
As a training Speech-Language Pathologist, I'm learning about all the ways a child develops oral language, reading, writing, spelling, and social thinking skills. I understand that parents want to understand these things too, but not spend 6+ years in school doing it. It's my job to take this knowledge and deliver it to parents in a clear and easy to understand way. This is why I've created each blog post with parents in mind. The tips are easy to implement and a fun way to integrate language development at home!
